Call for Nominations

In accordance with the KDUK Constitution, the term of the current Executive Committee is drawing to a close. We are officially opening the floor for members to step forward and lead our vibrant community into the 2026-2028 term.

How to Participate

1. Expression of Interest

Interested candidates should submit a brief formal expression of interest addressed to the General Secretary. You can do this via our internal forums or official email.

2. Requirements

Your submission must clearly state your intended office and a concise Vision Statement detailing your goals for KDUK during your tenure.

Available Executive Roles

1. Chair

Leadership & Representation

The public face of KDUK. Provides strategic guidance, issues official statements, and chairs Executive meetings to ensure the association’s growth.

2. General Secretary

Governance & Compliance

The custodian of the constitution. Oversees operations, ensures data protection compliance, coordinates meetings, and records minutes.

3. Treasurer

Financial Oversight

Manages banking, financial reporting, and fundraising. Acts as the primary signatory for accounts and oversees member payments.

4. Asst. Sec (Pastoral)

Member Welfare

Supports career progression and pastoral care. Links newcomers to regional leads and organizes mentorship and career-related talks.

5. Asst. Sec (Digital)

Digital & Comms

Manages KDUK’s online presence and publicity. Ensures high-quality messaging across all digital platforms and promotes events.

6. Asst. Sec (Partnerships)

Strategic Engagement

Engages with external partners and stakeholders. Coordinates and oversees collaborative projects on behalf of the Executive Office.

Eligibility & Terms

  • Must be a Full Member committed to the KDUK mission.
  • Elected for a renewable two-year term.
  • Maximum of two consecutive terms per role.
  • Bank Signatory roles are determined at the start of the term.
